A year of progress and innovation: A Christmas greeting from Odico
As the year draws to a close, we at Odico take a moment to reflect. The year has been a significant chapter in our history of growth and development. The transition from small-scale production to serial production has been an important step that has strengthened our focus on innovation and professionalism.
Our work in timber, wind and formwork solutions has proven fruitful and interest in these areas has been encouraging. This positive development motivates us to continue exploring new opportunities in construction and wind technology.
During the year, we have had the pleasure of participating in several exciting customer projects. These projects have not only been challenging but have also confirmed and supported our strategic direction. Collaborating with our customers has been crucial in demonstrating the potential of our solutions and reinforcing our commitment to the industry.
Yesterday, we marked the last monthly meeting of the year with a small Christmas gathering. This was a great opportunity to exchange Christmas greetings and enjoy each other’s company, reflecting the Danish tradition of ‘hygge’. It was also a time to say a friendly goodbye to our CEO, Henrik Jacobsen, who is stepping down on December 31st.

Our transition from test orders and pilot projects to repeated serial production has been a crucial shift aimed at increasing predictability and generating continuous revenue with lower risk and improved profitability. Today, Odico has a significant order backlog and a record-high pipeline of leads. We have achieved market breakthroughs across all our core technologies, secured first test orders and approvals, and we have new volume orders and repeat projects in the pipeline.
As I step down, I am confident that Odico will continue to intensify its go-to-market efforts through digital marketing and enhanced sales initiatives, while developing the organization’s ability to execute in the marketplace as business grows. As we approach the beginning of a new year, we look forward to the future with calm anticipation. 2024 stands before us as a year where we look forward to meeting new challenges and forging new partnerships. Our focus will remain on improving our operational capabilities and continuing our journey towards innovation.
During this transition period, we also take an important step in the leadership of Odico. We thank Henrik Jacobsen for his leadership and contributions during his time at Odico and welcome Claus Gulbech as our new interim CEO. We look forward to new perspectives and the continued development of the company under Claus’ leadership.
