In downtown Aarhus on Sonnesgade, a monumental 1800m2 office building has raised the bar for incorporating aesthetic solutions into the urban landscape.
The playful architects were given a piece of marble from the Italian quarry, Carrera, which was scaled and shaped digitally to create the unique facade.
For the realization of the project, Odico was able to do a swift conversion of the 3D scale, and combine milling and hot-wire cutting to create the patterns in EPS — all individually, unique blocks to form the final puzzle.
